Urgent replacement of broken Canopy/Awning Glass panel at a local condominium
Location
Centro Residences, Ang Mo Kio.
Glazing Solution Provided
Removal of broken glass, followed by fabrication new Glass – 13.52 mm thick low E tempered laminated glass consisting of 6 mm Low-E tempered glass + 1.52 mm clear PVB+ 6 mm clear tempered glass, as per measurement.
Installation after erecting scaffolding.
Scope of Work
- Erect scaffolding and remove after replacement
- Provision of $ 2 million public liability and workmen compensation insurance
- Supply tools, labour and material to remove existing broken glass
- Supply and installation of new Glass Panel
Time Taken
2 days – 6 hours each day
Challenges Faced & Overcome
Tenant is overseas, needed more time to arrange. Job was subjected to rain conditions. Delayed payment from insurance of the MCST, more time spent on glass fabrication.
