Project Background
House of Glass was engaged to design, supply, and install multiple glass enclosure and glass storefront solutions across Alexandra Road and Jurong East, Singapore. The project involved residential, commercial, and mixed-use environments, including an HDB homeowner requiring a glass study room enclosure, a building lobby needing a glass visitor enclosure, and retail units requiring modern glass storefront façades.
The client’s objective was to create functional, safe, and visually modern glass spaces that maximise openness and natural light while maintaining clear spatial separation. These installations needed to meet safety standards, fit within limited interior spaces, and complement the architectural design of residential and commercial properties.
Solution: Tempered Glass Enclosure and Storefront
House of Glass installed custom tempered glass enclosure systems and glass storefront façades tailored to each site’s functional and architectural requirements.
For the residential project, a full glass study room enclosure was created using tempered safety glass panels, providing privacy while maintaining visual openness and light flow within the HDB flat.
